July 16th? How did we get here already! With the first two weeks of the summer season behind us, we want you to know all of the fun and amazing things that have been going on @RedBay. Canada Day 2015 was an INCREDIBLE success. We had an afternoon “Kids of Red Bay” Parade where all of our little campers decorated their wagons, and bikes – dressed up in their most patriotic attire, and paraded around the campground throwing candy and treats to the spectators. They did a fantastic job, and fun was had by all. Later in the afternoon, the kids joined us on the front porch for some Canada Day rock painting so that all of the sites could have some red and white in their gardens; I must say we have some budding young artistic talent in our park. We enjoyed fireworks just steps from the park at Red Bay Beach; Believe it or not, this was all just on the WEDNESDAY!
Campers enjoyed some fantastic weather right through the long weekend, and Saturday the kids and adults alike enjoyed a truly spectacular sunset, as well as another round of Fireworks (Thank you to all that supported, and to the Love family for a great show) sparklers for the kids, and a roaring game of capture the Canadian Flag on Sunday to end off the weekend. With the August long weekend fast approaching, we are booking up fast and can’t wait to see what fun we can have with our campers!
Until next time campers…. Remember… It’s always a good day to be @RedBay!
