Cancellation Policy

 

Reservation Fee. A non-refundable  portion of the Site fee deposit. $25 is Reservation Fee is required to confirm any booking. The reservation fee covers administrative costs and secures your site for the dates you selected and is separate from the site fee deposit paid at time of reservation.

Standard cancellations (tent / RV sites).

  • Cancellations more than 14 days before your scheduled arrival: Refund of the site fees paid minus the $25 non-refundable reservation fee.
  • Cancellations within 14 days of scheduled arrival: No refund of site fees paid (booking fee still retained).

Cottage Rental Reservations.

  • Cancellations made before June 1st Refund of the site fees paid minus the $25 reservation fee.
  • Cancellations after June 1st: No refund unless the full week can be rebooked (these bookings are held to a stricter window).

Shortenings / Early departures. If you arrive late or leave early, no refund/adjustment will be provided for unused nights unless advised more than 14 days in advanced and/or we are able to re-book your site for the same dates.

No-shows. If you do not arrive and do not cancel, we will treat the reservation as a no-show and no refund will be given. We will release the site for re-booking at 11:00 a.m. the day after your scheduled arrival unless you contact us.

Transfers & credit. At our discretion, and subject to availability, we may allow you to transfer your reservation to another date or provide a credit valid for 12 months. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Extenuating circumstances / emergency exceptions. In exceptional circumstances (serious illness, family emergency, government travel restrictions), please contact us as soon as possible. We may consider a courtesy adjustment, credits, or re-booking at our discretion; documentation may be requested.

Weather & natural events. We do not issue refunds for weather, including rain, storms, or personal weather conditions. If the campground is forced to close due to severe local government orders or mandatory closures, we will offer refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis.

How to cancel. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@redbaycamp.ca Do Not leave voicemails. Cancellations communicated by phone must be followed up in writing. The date we receive the written cancellation determines eligibility for any adjustments.

How adjustments are issued. Adjustments/refunds (when applicable) are issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of cancellation approval. Adjustments do not include third-party processor fees that may be non-refundable.

Policy changes. We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page will reflect the most recent changes.
